Cidfinitum - Bezdna

New album of Moscow-based project Cisfinitum is the experiment in more emotional rather than in musical domain. Deep and profound, it's touching the most dark corners of human soul and takes it to the imaginary otherworlds. This peculiar quality of Cisfinitum music is achieved through extensive use of soviet analogue synthesizers (ANS, Polyvox, Yunost-21, Formanta amongst others), but the spiritual beauty of "Bezdna" is also created by violin and omnipresent voices. Psychoactive dark ambient combined with melodic incantations.

Absent - Absent

Absent, projet créé en Septembre 2003 par Yannick DONET (Untel), est un mélange de Post-Rock et d'Electronica... Après la sortie d'une demo (Evolution), Frédéric BAILLY (DSM), un membre actif de l'Association "Guerilla Underground", rejoint et enrichit le Monde sonore d'Absent ! Un 1er EP, LuminousEP, leur donne une complète satifaction dans la voie à prendre. Aussi, ils décident de continuer à travailler ensemble sur un nouveau LP dans lequel Yannick compose, developpe la musique music tandis que Frederic arrange et conclut ! Au fil du développement d'Absent, la composition devient de plus en plus approfondie pour créer un univers bien spécifique : ambiance sombre teintée de mélodies naïves, une musique minimale vacillant entre sonorités reposantes et rythmes imposants, où les instruments se mêlent aux sons électroniques. Les morceaux traduisent un duo entre l'Homme et la Machine, le Vrai et le Faux. Sur cette idée, des thèmes comme la solitude, la célébrité, la folie, le temps, l'absurdité ou la schizophrénie prennent place sur l'album éponyme, sorti en Septembre 2004 (couverture par Fred FREEDMAN, un infographiste talentueux !) .
